RCGP National and Regional Awards 2011

The Maryhill Practice has recently won two awards, The Royal College of General Practitioners Scotland Practice Team Award 2011 and Innovation in General Practice from the North East of Scotland Faculty of the RCGP 

We have been awarded The Royal College of General Practitioners Scotland Practice Team Award 2011 for how we work as a team in order to keep elderly and vulnerable patients at home thus preventing their hospital admission. 

We have also won an award for Innovation in General Practice from the North East of Scotland Faculty of the RCGP.  This was for our creation of a “virtual” medical ward in the Practice which allows clinical staff to highlight and focus on elderly and vulnerable patients in order to provide care in their home and to prevent hospital admission
